Principal (K-8th)
My daughter Aria started here in 3K. I was overjoyed with watching her love for Christ and understanding of His presence and her faith grow throughout the year. An opportunity came for me to apply to be the principal and I prayed for God to open the door if this is where He wanted me to be. I love that now I get to be at the same school as my daughter and that I have the opportunity to shine Christ’s light to so many children and staff every day!
What is your teaching background and/or credentials?
I have a bachelors in Early to Middle Childhood Education (meaning I am certified to teach children birth to sixth grade) from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse and a Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. I have taught in a wide variety of grades including K, 2nd/3rd multi-age, 4th, and then as a special education case manager and teacher for 5th-8th graders. I also was a behavior coach at an elementary school before accepting this position as principal. One of my favorite teaching opportunities has been serving as a youth leader at Christ is Lord in Onalaska for the last ten years.
Why do you love what you do?
I love so many pieces of this position. I love that I get to talk to students about Jesus and share his love and grace with them. It is an honor to get to connect with parents and help them walk through the challenging and rewarding role of being a parent and supporting their child. Finally, I love supporting my amazing team of teachers and watching them flourish with their students both in and out of the classroom.
Favorite Bible verse?
Psalm 16:8 “I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.”

We encourage all families with students in grades K-12 who want to offer their children a Christ-centered education to apply and see how you can invest in your students.
CSS has a robust, need-based financial aid program, and we are confident that we will be able to provide the needed assistance to all families who demonstrate a financial need through our FACTS process. For families that qualify, up to 50% of the tuition could be covered by Financial Aid. See the Tuition & Financial Aid section for more details and to apply.
