Elementary School

Building a Solid Foundation in the Primary Years

At Coulee Christian, we know you want the best for your child’s education—a place where they can flourish intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.

We also recognize how hard it is to navigate through all the options available without getting overwhelmed and losing sight of your priorities.

We’re here to partner with you so that you can find the best fit for your child’s unique needs. Our elementary program is designed to inspire and guide each student through focused coursework, personalized instruction, and an emphasis on Christian character.

Together, we can lay a foundation to propel your child toward a bright, God-honoring future.

How Your Student Will Learn & Grow

Spiritual and Personal Enrichment

An integrated approach to education fosters spiritual and personal development in every child. Students have daily Bible lessons with their classroom teachers, who use the Purposeful Design Elementary Bible Series as their primary learning resource. They also participate in chapel each week.

Our tailored English Language Arts curriculum, supplemented by specialized resources such as Heggerty, Orton Gillingham, and Journeys from HMH, ensures students develop strong foundational skills and conceptual understanding aligned with Wisconsin state ELA standards.

Our primary resource for grades K-5, Reveal Math, is designed to foster understanding and encourage students to explore and make sense of mathematical concepts. Aligned with Wisconsin state standards, our math lessons ensure that students learn critical mathematical skills and develop a deep comprehension of them.

Through science instruction, bolstered by resources like Purposeful Design Elementary Science, students engage in experiential learning that hones critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving abilities. These resources help students analyze scientific findings from a Biblical worldview.

Teachers use BJU Press’s Elementary Heritage Studies as a basis for social studies lessons, encouraging students to evaluate historical events and world cultures through the lens of the Bible. It’s an enriching journey of discovery and understanding that prepares our students to become informed global citizens grounded in faith.

A Few of Their Favorite Things

Our students get to broaden their academic experience with music, art, and physical education classes, diving into community service projects, too. They also have the chance to join in on curriculum-aligned field trips, all-school spelling bees, and speech meets, making their learning journey even more enriching.

Coulee Christian Non-Discrimination Policy

Coulee Christian School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Affording a Coulee Christian Education

Investing in your student’s education is one of the most important investments a parent can make.  Coulee Christian School participates in programs that you may be eligible for that would allow your student to attend tuition-free.  Other families may qualify for Tuition Assistance.  We encourage all families who want to offer their children a Christ-centered education to apply and see how you can invest in your students.

CSS has a robust, need-based financial aid program, and we are confident that we will be able to provide the needed assistance to all families who demonstrate a financial need through our FACTS process.  For families that qualify, up to 50% of the tuition could be covered by Financial Aid.  See the Tuition & Financial Aid section for more details and to apply.

Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP)

The Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP) allows a student with academic disabilities, who meets certain eligibility requirements, to receive a state-funded scholarship to attend a participating private school.  Students need to reside in the state of WI and have a current IEP or Service Plan to be eligible for this scholarship.  Click here to learn more about SNSP.

2024-2025 Tuition Rates

A vast majority of our students receive tuition assistance in some form or another, including a multi-student discount.  The rates below are for a full-paying student who doesn’t qualify for financial aid.  These rates reflect the current school year and are subject to change per the decision of the School Board for the following school year.
