Librarian
What brought you to Coulee Christian?
My children all attended Coulee Christian, and I quickly became involved volunteering and substitute teaching. When I saw an opening for a librarian, I was excited to be part of the Coulee community in a new way.
What is your teaching background and/or credentials?
I have a Bachelor’s degree from Dordt University.
Why do you love what you do?
I love engaging students with books. I love their surprise at a twist in a read aloud story. I love their excitement when they find a series they adore and they can’t wait to get the next book. I love hearing them recommend books to their friends and the way reading can be contagious.
Favorite Bible verse?
I have found that different Bible passages are important to me at different points in my life. Currently Isaiah 43 and Jeremiah 31:3 are significant to me.
