What is your teaching background and/or credentials?
Bachelors in Business Administration/Education. Taught at a Classical Christian School in NC for two years. Worked with grades K-3rd for four years as reading instructor while finishing my Bachelor’s degree.
Why do you love what you do?
I love teaching for the relationships I build with my students. I have high expectations for all my students and I love to watch them grow and develop skills they never knew they had. Having an opportunity to engage students to critically think, write, and discuss not only helps students develop but forms regular habits of the mind.
Favorite Bible verse?
Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
